OPPORTUNITIES
Within Bavaria, there are some opportunities for foreign people. Because Bavaria is sold in over 120 countries, foreigners can work at Bavaria in their own country. Due to the many different career opportunites, such as engineering, marketing and production management, there is not one kind of education required. As they say themselves, it is only important to work hard and to do your job well.
Then, there are many possibilities to climb the ladder' and attain a higher position within Bavaria, or maybe even work abroad. Because it is a medium-sized company with less than a 1000 employees, it is easy to get a different job, just the one that suits you.
A good example of this is Geert. He started as an intern market researcher for Bavaria. He was offered a chance to go to Ethiopia, where Bavaria built a new factory. He was supposed to do some market research, and because he worked well, he could stay there longer than the original 3 months.
It eventually became three years and now he is a manager of the marketing branch of the Ethiopian brand, Habesha. Going from an intern to a manager in Ethiopia, that is what Bavaria is all about, using your skills and talents to achieve success and promotion in your career.

As with every company in the food & drink industry, Bavaria has a variety of different fields of work in which you are able to pursue various occupations. There is a finance department for people who have studied economics. Geert works in the marketing department making the brand of Bavaria as attractive to the customer as possible. Engineers can find work in the production department, building and replacing the machinery. Bavaria also offers jobs to IT professionals, who are required to handle the beer production, programming robots and computers. Lastly the sales department takes care that the produce moved by the logistics department lands in the customer's hands.
A close connection between the management and leadership and even the lowest level employees allows for quick promotion and a fairly familiar environment for an international company.
